U.S AMBASSADOR PAYS COURTESY ON HON. SLYVIA MASEBO

United States Ambassador to Zambia Michael Gonzales has paid courtesy on Honourable Slyvia Masebo today.
The Ambassador congratulated Hon. Masebo on her appointment as Lands and Natural Resources Minister and mentioned that he was confident she would drive the ministry to greater heights.
The Minister and the Ambassador discussed several issues including areas of support by the American Government to the Republic of Zambia through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Honourable Masebo thanked Ambassador Gonzales for their continued support to the Ministry.
The American Government through USAID is supporting interventions in the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources among them, the finalization of the Land and Community Based National Resource Management, issuance of the Low cost and Accessible Customary Land Documentation Certificate to 85,000 individuals and enhancement of Integrated Land use planning of wildlife and forestry sectors.

Medilux explores healthcare partnership with Zambia

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is pleased to announce that discussions are underway with Medilux, a leading Finnish digital healthcare company, regarding the establishment of a new medical clinic in Zambia.

The proposed initiative includes the introduction of Etälääkäri, Medilux’s state-of-the-art telemedicine service. Through this platform, doctors and patients can connect securely online, providing access to high-quality healthcare even in remote and underserved areas. The partnership aims to bring advanced medical expertise and modern digital solutions to Zambia, ensuring that vulnerable communities and low-income populations can benefit from timely medical advice, digital consultations, and safe prescription services.

This collaboration represents an important step towards strengthening Zambia’s healthcare infrastructure, improving accessibility, and supporting the government’s vision of inclusive health services for all citizens.
