An update on the current construction of Lands and Deeds Registry which is being constructed to create a more organized land registry system that will improve revenue collection for Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. It was observed that the congestion in the registry may lead to files not been easily traced in the quickest time possible During the week, Dr. Hon. Elijah Muchima – Minister of Lands and Natural resources together with Hon. Eng. Charles L. Milupi – Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development made a joint visit to the construction site where the new lands registry is being built. The new lands registry will accommodate land records, archives and a library. Representing their respective ministries, both Ministers observed the progress first hand. Their visit highlights the government’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure and fostering inter-ministerial cooperation for the benefit of the public. The construction of the Lands Registry stands as a tangible testament of Government’s commitment to enhancing governance, driving progress.
